    It is best to leave Nogales very early in the morning. This will take you to Navajoa or Los Mochis for the first night (approximately 360 or 460 miles). There are many places to stay in either location although Navajoa has more than Los Mochis. There is a Best Western del Rio or Los Mayos and these come highly recommended. They are basic and clean and not expensive. Many restaurants are nearby and Mr. Edwars restaurant comes highly recommended in Los Mochis.
